About

GuayaSoft builds HostLog, HostLens and HostLedger.

GuayaSoft makes Chrome extensions for Airbnb and short-term rental hosts. Each one does one job well — keeping your books, tracking what changed on your listing, or researching your market — so you can run your listing on evidence without paying for enterprise tools.

Who's behind it

Camilo Acosta, founder of GuayaSoft

Hi, I'm Camilo. Engineer, short-term rental host, and the maker behind GuayaSoft.

The data that drives good hosting decisions exists: what nearby listings charge, how full they are, what actually moves your bookings. But most of it is locked inside corporate tools priced for big property managers. If you run one or two listings, you're left guessing.

I didn't want to guess. I worked as a System Engineer at Amazon and hold degrees in data science, so I did what engineers do: I built the tools myself. Now I'm putting them in the hands of the hosts those platforms priced out.

I live in Canada, with Colombian roots, and I've hosted for over five years. Today I have a property in Santa Marta, Colombia, and that's where I put my own ideas and lessons into practice before bringing them to GuayaSoft. I spend hours improving every tool before it reaches you. I sweat the details, and I don't stop at "good enough": every tool gets measured, polished and improved again.

Where GuayaSoft is going

My goal is for GuayaSoft to become one central place where hosts manage their short-term rental business intelligence, so every decision about price, listing and strategy is backed by evidence. HostLens, HostLedger and HostLog are the first pieces of that.

You shouldn't need a corporate budget to make decisions backed by data. If you're an independent host with a few properties, GuayaSoft is built for you: practical tools and honest advice you can actually use.
